Blogging For Beginners

If you are like me, just a beginner at Blogging I would like to help if I can to get you building your own Blog network.
Maybe you have thought about starting your own Blog but don't know where to start. Let me tell you it's not as daunting as you think and it really is a great buzz to see your creativity unfolding on a web page.
It has to be easier to set up a profitable Blog rather than going the whole hog and investing in a web site.
If you are a newbie like me you can quickly establish an online presence with a free Blog or Blogs.
At the moment I am writing on around 20 Blogs as well as other sites.
Poshcoffeeco is the pen name I write under as it links in nicely to other interests I have in the coffee world.
More about that some other time.

Not really. There are lots of reasons why investing in a website is better than using a free blog. For one thing, which blog would you trust more - one called "poshcoffeewrites.com" or one called "poshcoffeewrites.blogspot.com"? Doesn't the second one sound like an amateur?

Besides, you don't have to invest much to have a website (or at least something that sounds like one). All you have to do is buy a domain name - which will cost you less than $10 a year - and attach it to your Blogger blog.

Another tip - to make money, you must have a niche. That's a particular subject that you focus on. If you write on a variety of topics on one blog, Google can't figure out what the site is about and won't feature it. When you work out what niche you want to write about, get a domain name that includes your keywords - if you're using your name in your blog or website URLs, you're letting your ego get in the way of success.
